This book is dedicated to the cartographic collection of Fondazione Masi, commented by the scholar Ulderico Bernardi who has provided an account of the maps’ framework of reference in terms of culture and tradition, with their gallery of famous and less famous figures.
But in addition to this focus on local history, society and moeurs, we have added a brief but scientifically rigorous cartographic appendix providing map lovers and experts with a series of specific and detailed descriptions and commentaries.
